Responsibilities include oversight of entire membership application process: meeting and counseling prospective new members, helping them find sponsors, receiving and processing new applications, regularly briefing the Chairman of the Membership Committee and preparing for Membership Committee meetings, activating membership and sending out welcome letters; maintaining the database updated plus a broad variety of other administrative tasks; monitoring the general membership email inbox and responding to the diverse inquiries of members and non-members. Co-editing the quarterly members only ‘Explorers Log’ publication and contributing pieces, curating the Students’ Corner on the Explorers Club website.  Writing condolence letters for the president. Helping out with front desk and event organization as the need arises.
